I came across Black Swan Designs last week and love everything this talented artist creates! Mel Bowles is truly amazing! While I was checking out her jewellery, her website showcases her beautiful photography and digital art.
Now this was seriously jaw dropping.. she has completely re-created the entire 'Where The Wild Things Are' book's illustrations by compiling many digital photos styled and manipulated in photoshop. Check out the one below, you'd be hard pressed to make out that each element comes from a photo she has taken, it looks hand done! Thanks so much for the write up Sarah, what a lovely start to the week! I had a lot of fun making these images, and watching them develop as the layers and hours spent in Photoshop piled on. What could be more fun than turning your best mate into a monster!
