Things I Love Thursday

I haven't done a TILT (Things I Love Thursday) since a few times when I first started blogging, which seems like forever... so here goes...

1. Debra's Marrow Chutney.

Yup Chutney. So simple, yet so underrated! I've never been this obsessed with my lunch and whether or not it includes the sweet nectar that is chutney. I can't get enough of this homemade delicacy, I've eaten it almost every day since I was given the blessed jar. Debra has another one waiting for me and she said it was a 'big' jar - so now I can't wait because the store bought beetroot chutney just isn't cutting it! Above is a photo of my salad sandwich that I just can't stop making (yes I took a photo of the blimmin thing!).

2. My Husband.

Yes of course it's cheesey but I love him and I just wanted to add him on here because he is cool. He has been an extra big help this week since we were all sick and I've been really wasted and tired. Always good to have a man around town who knows what he is doing. I feel like I spend most of my time snapping at him. But he is really good at turning the 'wife volume' button down in his head when needed and doesn't ever get pissed at me. Here he is at Waihi beach...

3. The Big Bang Theory.

Don't really need an explanation for this, we all know it's super cool.

4. Choosing, buying, making and wrapping birthday presents.

It's Gina & Dad's birthday on Friday and I've been thinking about gifts for them for ages. I'm a gift giver and I LOVE giving gifts. I think I get a bigger kick out of it than the recipients. I just love thinking about a gift, going to buy it or making it, then searching for the perfect little pieces to add - to make it extra special. Linzi knows what I am talking about! This week I got to do this for 2 people. Although Dad didn't want much, he's still getting a little something and hopefully Gina likes her stash :-). I couldn't exactly add a photo of her present, so here is a sneak peek...
