Guest Blogger Debra: I've revolutionised our toy storage

The storage of our girls toys was a dilemma. Toy boxes just accumulate 'never seen' toys at the bottom. I had tried splitting the toys into four boxes and rotating them; sometimes rotated fortnightly, other times it went months. At tidy up time, the toys didn't have a set home as the toys out were always changing. Also when Jessica asked for a specific toy I could only reply, 'It's somewhere in one of those boxes". A couple of friends had sets of plastic drawers, on wheels even, that they stored toys in and then labeled the drawers. They seemed to like it. We bought three sets of 4-high drawers and have put them in Jessica's wardrobe. It works a treat.
Now she can access all her toys and she knows exactly where they go when you ask her to put them away. It's fabulous! We aren't looking back!
